Académie Mallarmé jury, made up of twenty-nine members and chaired by Sylvestre Clancie, has just announced the longlist for the prestigious Prix Mallarmé and Prix Mallarmé étranger which this year includes two Croatian authors: Alen Brlek and Dražen Katunarić.

Théories nocturnes by Alen Brlek has been translated into French by Martina Kramer, and Je reste plus longtemps dans la mer by Dražen Katunarić by Martina Kramer, Brankica Radić and Vanda Mikšić. Both poetry collections have been published by l'Ollave in 2022 and are nominated for the Prix Mallarmé étranger, with eight other nominees.

The Prix Mallarmé is one of the oldest and most prestigious French poetry prizes awarded each year by the Académie Mallarmé to a French-speaking poet, for a particular book or the overall oeuvre.

The Prix Mallarmé étranger, launched in 2022, aims to promote both the work of translators who work to open up new literary perspectives and foreign poetry translated into French.

The award ceremony will be held in November during the Brive Book Fair, and here is the list of all nominees.
