Croatian poetry in French translation and its original language will be presented on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat.

Reading includes poems by twelve authors: Antun Branko Šimić, Dobriša Cesarić, Jure Kaštelan, Slavko Mihalić, Andriana Škunca, Anka Žagar, Branko Čegec, Miroslav Mićanović, Brankica Radić, Vanda Mikšić, Ana Brnardić and Alen Brlek.

All translations have been published in the Domaine croate/Poésie series by the French publishing house L'Ollave, whose editorial department includes Jean de Breyne (editor-in-chief), Martina Kramer, Brankica Radić and Vanda Mikšić.

This event is organized by the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Morocco. Along with representatives of the Academy, the audience will be greeted by the ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Ms. Jasna Mileta, while poet and essayist Branko Čegec and poets and translators Brankica Radić and Vanda Mikšić will present Croatian poetry and the L'Ollave's translation project and will also read verses in both Croatian and French.
